The Catalina Club’s 7-ply mahogany shells focus on warmth and punch. Mahogany naturally emphasises lower frequencies, giving the kit a round, vintage-style character that sits comfortably in many musical settings. Whether you’re playing jazz, blues, funk, or lighter rock styles, the shells respond quickly and keep the sound balanced across the kit.
This construction also helps maintain clarity at lower volumes, which is especially useful in rehearsal rooms or smaller venues. Instead of overwhelming the mix, the drums remain controlled and musical, letting each note speak clearly.
Compact kit designed for tighter stages
The 18" x 14" bass drum forms the heart of this compact setup. Its smaller diameter keeps the overall kit footprint manageable, making transport easier and allowing you to fit comfortably onto tighter stages or rehearsal spaces.
Despite its size, the bass drum still produces a focused low-end punch. Paired with the 12" rack tom and 14" floor tom, the configuration gives you a versatile tonal range without the bulk of a full-sized kit.
Responsive feel from precision bearing edges
The 30° bearing edge design improves how the drumhead sits on the shell. With increased head-to-shell contact, the drums respond quickly to lighter playing while maintaining consistent tuning stability.

Gig-ready hardware and practical extras
This Catalina Club configuration includes chrome hardware, a single tom holder, and a matching 14" x 5" snare drum. The hardware keeps the setup straightforward and stable while maintaining the clean look of the Gloss Crimson Burst finish.
A bass drum riser is also included. Because the kick drum is smaller, the riser lifts it into the correct playing position for your pedal, ensuring consistent beater contact and helping you achieve a full, punchy response from the drum.
