The Pearl Masters MRV 22'' 4pc Shell Pack, Matte White with Cymbals is an incredibly responsive shell pack from Pearl and is part of their renowned Masters Maple Reserve series. This bundle includes a full pack of Zildjian cymbals, featuring a pair of 14'' hi-hat cymbals, a 16'' Dark Thin Crash, an 18'' Dark Thin Crash and a 20'' Ride Cymbal. The kit features high-quality North American maple shells with durable chrome hardware and an eye-catching elegant matte white finish. The 4-ply, 5mm North American maple shells are crafted to be thinner than usual 4-ply shells, and feature a 4-ply maple reinforcement ring which combines to create a smooth, open tonality with rich lows and wide-open resonance, finishing with a classic resonant shimmer. All three toms feature 1.6mm FatTone hoops, providing increased strength and articulation. Also included on the rack toms is Pearl's OptiMount suspension system. This features a triangular design with three tension rod attachment points which offer increased resonance and endless sustain. All drums from the Masters Maple Reserve series feature Pearl's proprietary 38-step lacquering process and showcase a classic, vintage style as distinctive as the shells they adorn.

The included Zildjian K0800 Cymbal Boxset provides players with a complete set of the legendary Zildjian K family cymbals. Loved by drummers worldwide for their dark, rich tones, the Zildjian K range of cymbals has been a mainstay of the Zildjian line up since the 19th century. Suitable for a wide range of styles and genres, including jazz and rock, this pack of cymbals includes a free 18'' Zildjian K Dark Thin Crash Cymbal.

Pearl Masters Maple Reserve

The Pearl Masters Maple Reserve series feature high quality, deluxe drums that are built to allow musicians to access and harness their full drumming capability. They are made from a selection of specially chosen materials used in the Pearl Masterworks range. This is followed by a time-consuming manual construction process in order to create a product of uncompromising quality, appealing to any drummer.

Shell Hardware

Pearl Masters Maple Reserve drums have a unique design which gives the drums strength in volume. Their weight is considerably lower than the average drum which allows the drum to naturally resonate for longer. The shells are fitted with 1.6mm FatTone Hoops and bridge style CL lugs, both which work together to provide a more naturally resonant drum with increased articulation and far more durability.

Maple Tonewood

Maple is a classic wood for achieving high-quality tones with exceptional clarity. The sound produced has an emphasised low end with balanced middle and high end frequencies. Maple drums are versatile, suiting a range of styles, making them ideal for studio and live performances. FatTone Hoop on Toms

The Masters Maple Reserve toms all feature FatTone hoops, offering perfect rim shots and cross-stick effects. These cleverly designed hoops are precision formed from heavy duty 1.6mm steel and feature a hemmed/welded edge for increased strength and articulation.

OptiMount Suspension System

All rack toms from the Pearl Masters Maple Reserve series are equipped with Pearl's OptiMount suspension system. This mounting system features a triangular design with two tension rod attachment points and another through one of the drum's two air vents. Rubber isolators at all connection points enable the drums to vibrate freely for ultimate sustain and resonance while providing absolute wobble-free performance.
