Valve tone with practical power

The MF 484 2.N is built around an all-tube design, combining ECC81, ECC82, and ECC83 preamp valves with a quartet of EL84s. This setup delivers the touch sensitivity and harmonic response players expect from valve amps, without excessive volume.

At 30 watts, it stays loud enough for rehearsals and smaller stages while remaining manageable for recording. Clean tones stay clear and open, and engaging the Boost adds extra bite and saturation for classic rock-style drive without needing external pedals.

Direct sound without compromise

Thanks to the Two notes Torpedo output, you can leave bulky cabinets at home and still get a convincing guitar sound. Six virtual cabinets are included, each based on classic designs and loaded with Celestion speakers.

These are mic’d using well-known studio microphones in controlled acoustic spaces, so the sound is ready for front-of-house or recording straight away. It’s a practical option if you want consistent tone night after night, or a quiet setup for studio work.

Simple controls, wide tonal range

The front panel layout keeps everything familiar, with Bass, Middle, Treble, and Presence controls laid out for quick adjustments. This makes it easy to react on the fly, whether you’re tweaking for a different room or switching guitars. Plug into a conventional speaker cabinet and you’ll find a wide spread of usable tones, covering clean, edge-of-breakup, and more saturated sounds without feeling complicated or menu-driven.

USB editing for studio precision

A USB port on the rear panel lets you dig deeper into the Torpedo system. When connected to a computer, you can adjust microphone models and placement to better suit your mix or playing style. This is especially useful if you’re recording direct and want more control over how your guitar sits in a track. It keeps the amp flexible for modern workflows, while still feeling like a straightforward valve head at heart.
