The D410N is built for players who want the punch and authority of a 410 cab without the usual bulk. By using paulownia for the main enclosure and adding a Baltic birch front baffle for rigidity, Darkglass have created a cabinet that feels surprisingly light yet remains solid and resonant. At just 22.2 kg, it’s easy to load into cars, carry up staircases and handle on stage while still offering a full 1000 watts of power handling.
Inside the cabinet are four custom-designed Eminence neodymium drivers engineered specifically for Darkglass’s tonal requirements. These speakers provide fast low-end response, tight definition and a strong midrange presence that works equally well with clean tones or Darkglass’s signature drive sounds. The lightweight magnets help keep the total weight of the cabinet down while retaining the impact and authority demanded by gigging bassists.
A P-Audio PHT-410 horn extends the frequency range up to 15 kHz, giving the cabinet excellent high-end articulation. Whether you’re slapping, tapping or running distortion, the horn adds clarity without sounding harsh.
