The Emperor Swingster is loaded with a pair of Epiphone Swingbucker pickups at the bridge and neck, which provides plenty of sonic warmth without losing clarity. The SwingBuckers provide a versatile tone that works for a variety of different styles, and with the Push/Pull tone controls you an alter the output to either Parallel or Series for even more tones.
Combination Of Bright & Light Tonewoods
The Emperor Swingster delivers beautifully bright tones with its combination of lightweight tonewoods. The maple back and sides offer a well balanced sound with exceptional sustain, and a clear, cutting tone that has good projection. The maple is topped with spruce which enhances the tone with a broad dynamic range, as well as good clarity for an overall strong and punchy sound. The neck is also made from bright maple, and it is paired with a rosewood fingerboard which brings soft and warm articulation.
Vintage 'Rockabilly' Appointments
The Epiphone Emperor Swingster has a 'rockabilly' appearance, with its warm Wine Red finish the Swingster is sure to make a statement on stage. Other vintage appointments include two 'F' holes, a beautiful headstock inlay and the B30 Bigsby wire handle for the complete Rockabilly, Jazz, Country and Rock guitar.
