Unmistakable sounds. There’s nothing like the authentic voice of tube amps, and that shines through with the Bassbreaker 30R. Equipped with four EL84 power tubes and three 12AX7 preamp tubes, you will create all kinds of sparkling sonics. Cleans will ring out with plenty of chime and bright highs, while mids are pronounced and gusty. Switch over to crunch and revel in the glorious fiery crackle these tubes generate. And the best thing is, they’re so responsive to your pick attack and control settings. If you want soft caresses or meteoric chugs, these will voice them with ease.
Switch away!
The way you’ve always wanted to play. An included footswitch means you can instantly hop between clean and crunch and the tap of a toe. And while that’s not an uncommon feature for an amplifier, the Bassbreaker 30R has a whole other secret for its footswitch! And that’s a gain boost for the distortion channel. This will spike your tone even further, granting you the searing cut to let your solos stand out. Effectively, this footswitch means you’ve got clean, rhythm and lead sounds available all at once!
Built-in reverb and your own effects
When it comes to reverb, Fender are the pros. They’ve got that ethereal, springback sound mastered. And it shows on the Bassbreaker 30R, as with a simple reverb dial you can load in enough reverb to suit your taste. But that’s not all – no, they’ve made it even better on here. By switching to a hall type reverb, the 30R will enhance your notes rather than muddying up the tone. Even on high-gain, no holds barred distortion!
The modern player demands more, though. And to serve those expansive tastes Fender have equipped the 30R with an effects loop. Connect up your own pedal cocktail with the 30R acting as your base and you’ll create an endless ream of rock.
