The G6136T-140 comes designed with a pair of Filter'Tron pickups, located at the bridge and neck of the guitar. This powerful pair complements the guitar's chambered body resonance and delivers a balanced and transparent tone, eliminating any undesirable hum that is often associated with single-coil pickups.
Like many guitars by Gretsch, the G6136T features a Bigsby vibrato tailpiece which offers a smooth tremolo system to create classic sounding pitch bend, providing evenly spread movement across all strings. This can be used to create subtle movements in chords, adding extra depth and texture to your sound. Its incredible voicing also features tones from the hollowbody construction. Thanks to the “F” sound holes, a natural acoustic projection and resonant sound is produced.
