The Charger Cleancut features a pair of Railhammer Cleancut pickups, designed by Reverend founder Joe Naylor to solve one of the biggest challenges of traditional humbuckers. Rails beneath the wound strings keep bass notes tight, focused, and articulate, while individual pole pieces beneath the plain strings deliver full, expressive highs with excellent sustain. This innovative combination produces exceptional note separation, balanced output, and impressive clarity across the entire fretboard, making the guitar equally suited to clean passages, driven rhythm playing, and soaring lead tones.
A lightweight korina body provides balanced frequencies, lively resonance, and rich harmonic content while remaining comfortable during extended playing sessions. Reverend's slimmer Charger body improves ergonomics without compromising tone, and the thin UV-cured finish allows the wood to vibrate more freely for greater responsiveness.
