Offset comfort that feels natural
The Seattle’s offset body shape is designed to sit comfortably against you, reducing strain during longer playing sessions. This shape works particularly well when playing seated, but also balances nicely on a strap, helping the guitar feel stable and predictable.
Made from lightweight poplar, the body keeps overall weight down, which is reassuring if you’re still building stamina or practising regularly. Combined with a 25.5” scale length, the Seattle feels familiar while offering a slightly more relaxed playing posture.
Smooth neck built for easy movement
The maple neck features a comfortable C profile that suits a wide range of hand sizes. A satin neck finish helps reduce friction, allowing your hand to move easily when changing positions or playing faster passages.
A maple fretboard adds a natural feel under your fingers, while the 12” radius and medium frets strike a balance between comfortable chord shapes and controlled bends. Black dot inlays provide a quick indication of where you are on the fretboard.
Versatile pickups and controls
Each Seattle guitar is fitted with two single-coil pickups and a three-way selector switch, a straightforward setup that’s easy to understand and rewarding to use. This configuration has long been favoured for its clarity and responsiveness, especially when you want your playing dynamics to come through clearly.
The three-way switch lets you select between the following pickup combinations:
- Bridge pickup only
- Bridge and neck pickups
- Neck pickup only
Explainer: pickups are magnets that capture string vibrations and send the signal to your amplifier.
Each position offers a distinct feel and sound. The bridge pickup delivers bright, cutting tones that work well for defined rhythm parts and lead lines that need to stand out. Switching to the neck pickup brings a warmer, smoother response, ideal for clean passages and more relaxed playing. Using both pickups together creates a balanced tone that suits everything from jangly chords to layered textures.
Simple volume and tone controls keep sound shaping intuitive. The tone knob lets you quickly brighten or soften your sound, while the volume control gives you instant command over your output, making it easy to adjust on the fly as you play.
Reliable hardware that keeps things simple
The Seattle uses a fixed six saddle bridge and chrome die-cast machine heads for stable tuning and dependable performance. This setup keeps adjustments straightforward, which is helpful if you’re learning basic maintenance and setup skills.
Finished with a white three-ply pickguard and chrome hardware, the Seattle balances practicality with a clean, classic look, ideal for players who want something a little different without added complexity.
