It has been mounted to the body with a contoured 5-bolt joint, designed to keep your hand free from any barriers at the top end of the neck. It also features a 38mm nut, which is narrower than previous models and creates a tighter string gap for smoother string-crossing.
The StingRay Classic comes equipped with a single humbucker, which produces a raunchy sound that is ideal for modern styles of music.
