Portable Multi-Effects Processor

The Bastl Instruments Thyme Effects Processor is one of the most versatile effects processors available, with its 9 on-board parameters and variety of premium-grade effects. You can achieve time-based effects with ease, using the ergonomic control section to manipulate and change the way your effect reacts and sounds. Its portable design and wide variety of effects make it ideal for live performances and studio applications alike. It features an integrated 32-step sequencer with 4 patterns that allow you to store sequencing presets. It provides you with 8 on-board presets, organised in 8 banks for a total of 64 presets. It also features a tap tempo button for added convenience, allowing you manually tap in the tempo you require.

The Robot

One of the most unique features of the Thyme Effects Processor is the dedicated modulation source, aptly named the ‘Robot’. Each of the Robots is a versatile modulation source, in the form of an LFO, envelope follower or external CV for maximum flexibility. This allows you to delve further into the architecture of your effects, allowing you to achieve a wide range of tones and sounds. You can even use the Robot to phase your sound differently for the left and right channel, creating psychedelic-style effects. A freeze button is also included, allowing you to create tape-style loops.

Delay, Filter, Phaser, Chorus, Reverb & More

Including 9 parameters in total, the Thyme effects processor allows you to scour the vast landscape between the multi-effects categories, in full stereo sound. The nine parameters in total are comprised of Tape Speed, Delay Coarse & Fine, Feedback, Filter, extra heads Spacing and Levels, Dry Wet Mix and Volume. The wide range of controls gives you full access to a range of high-quality effects, allowing you to achieve a number of styles and tones. The on-board sequencer can be used in conjunction with other effects, and synchronised to the external or internal clock.

Stereo Headphone Amp & MIDI Connectivity

The Thyme Effects Processor also features a wide range of connectivity, making it ideal for use with a wide range of external equipment. One of the most convenient features is the integrated stereo headphone output. This headphone output allows you to experiment with your effects in private, also ideal for as another sound source for checking for fluctuations between different speaker sources. The headphones output comes complete with a dedicated attenuator for changing the volume for added convenience. It also boasts MIDI I/O, analog clock and CV for communicating with external sound sources. The rear also features a switchable stereo/mono input, stereo output and foot switch jack.
