Active Sound Mode

One of the most unique features of the MTP 840 DM is the integrated Active Mode. This mode boost the mics sensitivity up by 12dB, whilst retaining the output impedance. This gives you extra flexibility when it comes to live performances and studio work. It also boasts a three-position low-cut filter allowing you to switch from linear to 150Hz and 250Hz. This allows you to cater to a wide range of recording situations, removing low-end rumble or making the high-end stand out. The result is rich and defined sound that will cut through any mix.

Ultra Rugged Design

The ultra-rugged design makes it ideal as a keystone vocal microphone for on the road. The internal dual shock mount system helps to minimise handling noise.
