Connect instruments with confidence
The DIP1 converts unbalanced instrument-level signals into a balanced XLR output, helping you connect directly to mixers, PA systems, and audio interfaces. Balanced signals are better suited to longer cable runs, making the DIP1 a useful addition for stage and studio environments alike. Whether you're plugging in a guitar, bass, keyboard, or other line-level source, it provides a simple way to integrate your instrument into professional audio equipment.
Keep your amplifier in the chain
The integrated thru output allows you to split your signal between the DI box and an external amplifier. This means you can send a clean balanced feed to front-of-house or a recording interface while continuing to monitor through your preferred amp setup. It's particularly useful for live performances, where you may want the consistency of a direct signal without changing how you hear your instrument on stage.
Reduce noise and control levels
Unwanted hum can quickly become a distraction in any audio setup. The DIP1 includes a ground lift switch that helps minimise ground loop interference, making it easier to achieve a cleaner signal path. Alongside this, the selectable -20dB pad attenuates hotter input signals to help prevent overload and distortion. Together, these controls give you greater flexibility when working with a variety of instruments and audio sources.
Compact, passive, and gig-ready
Because the DIP1 uses a passive design, there's no need for batteries or external power supplies. Simply connect your equipment and you're ready to go. The compact housing takes up minimal space on stage or in a pedalboard setup, while the black finish blends neatly with surrounding equipment. Protective side panels help guard against knocks during transport, making the DIP1 a practical choice for musicians who need dependable performance from venue to venue.
