QSC KLA181 18" Active PA Subwoofer Overview
The QSC KLA181 Active Subwoofer is a subwoofer module that provides your concerts with masses of low-end power. It has an 18 inch inverted vented woofer which provides even and clear sound, and a massive acoustic output of 135 dB SPL. This subwoofer can be used on its own, but is designed to be arranged in arrays with the KLA12, giving you options to boost your low-end and get wide coverage in larger venues, or even large suspended arrangements for arenas and outdoor festivals.
The KLA181's extensive DSP features optimise its sound, with QSC's DEEP algorithm delivering extended bass response that prevents distortion by managing low-frequency transients. GuardRail circuitry protection prevents thermal overload and clipping, and Auto Standby engages after five minutes of inactivity for more efficient power consumption. The KLA181 gives powerful and clear low-end with plenty of articulation making it a professional choice for venues that want to sound their best.

Rugged construction
Running a concert hall can be tough work. Things can break - and usually at the most inopportune times. Thankfully, QSC has designed the KLA181 to be extremely tough whilst staying relatively light. The tough birchwood enclosure is covered with texture paint to help keep it safe from the trials of the day to day running of a venue. It's built to last, so is a must-have for venues of all sized.
