The CAD Stage 7 Drum Microphone Pack is the ideal choice for micing up a full drum kit, allowing you to get the best sound out of your kit without having to break the bank. The affordable bundle includes a wide variety of mics, each individually tailored to suit a different drum. Each microphone is also conveniently labelled to the drum it is designed for, so you can easily position your microphones. The pack includes 7 microphones in total and comes complete with a protective carrying case.

CAD D29 Tom Microphones

The CAD D29 microphones allow you to mic up to four separate tom drums in a kit, providing you with enough mics to record a full kit. The D29 itself features a cardioid pickup pattern with a moving-coil dynamic. The wide frequency range eliminates the low-end rumble by starting its range at 90 Hz and ranging up to 13kHz. This allows you to hear the full body of the tom come through without interfering with the kick drum.

C9 Cardioid Condenser Instrument Microphone

The CAD C9 Cardioid Microphone is specially designed for use with instruments, specifically as an overhead in this package. The cardiod pickup pattern and wide frequency range (40Hz – 13kHz) ensures you capture every nuance of the drum you are recording. Its high sound pressure level and impedance of 150 ohms ensures you can record even the loudest drummer without the worry of distortion.

D19 Supercardioid Dynamic Percussion Microphone

The CAD D19 Supercardioid Dynamic Microphone is a premium-quality percussion microphone, highly suited for recordings snare drums. The Supercardioid pickup pattern and wide frequency range (90Hz – 14kHz) ensures you capture the subtle undertones of your snare, while minimising any crossover frequencies with the kick drum. This ensures a flat and concise mix when it comes to arrangement.

D10 Cardioid Dyanmic Kick Drum Microphone

The CAD D10 Cardioid Dynamic Kick Drum Microphone is specially designed to be used as a microphone for recording kick drums. The moving-coil dynamic and cardioid pickup pattern help to preserve the bottom end of the kick whilst ensuring it punches through any mix. The wide frequency response (50Hz – 16kHz) ensures you pick up the low-end of the kick with high-definition while retaining the ‘click’ that will make it cut through even the heaviest of mixes.
