Ultra-low noise thresholds, analog-modelled oscillators and filters and a host of premium effects have been painstakingly crafted to let you conjure up sounds that most FM synthesizers simply cannot offer.

Alias-free oscillators

Tuned to perfection, the oscillators within Toxic Biohazard are completely alias-free and ideal for all sampling rates, producing a fat, rich and detailed sound across the entire spectrum with clean frequency sweeps. Effectively eliminating 'shredding' noise found on conventional FM synthesizers, you can push the higher frequencies and still retain a clean and warm sound. Behind the scenes, the oscillators are optimised for performance, calculating at extremely high speeds to keep your CPU usage low, making it the ideal choice for live musicians to create new and exciting sounds on the fly whilst still being able to use external plug-ins or processors.

Coming included with 32 built-in classic waveforms, Toxic Biohazard provides a flexible and versatile tonal palette to choose from. Alternatively, you can create your own waveforms through the powerful spectrum analysis technology implemented within the oscillator module by simply loading a WAV or AIFF sound file.

Add professional polish with premium effects

Adding an extra layer of creativity and flexibility within Toxic Biohazard, you are given access to a myriad of world-class effects, eliminating the need for any external processing. The onboard controls allow you to both explore your creative potential as well as providing you with the essential effects and tools needed to help fit your tones in your mixes. Add dynamic and rhythm to your track with a warm stereo delay or put your tone in a virtual space and add depth with reverb. There are of course modulation effects such as flanger and phaser to explore unique and exciting sounds that can add the special 'magic' to your sound.

The inclusion of an analog-modelled parametric EQ ensures that no matter how your mix sounds or what tone you are creating inside Toxic Biohazard, you will be able to sculpt and shape the tone to give it space within your mix! Beautifully articulate, the parametric EQ lets you shape with deep, powerful lows, crisp and clear top-end and a well-defined mid-range to bring out the heart and soul of your tone. Analog-modelled filter

Using an analog-modelled, multimode filter, Toxic Biohazard delivers unmistakable analog tones to add authenticity and character to your tracks. Toxic Biohazard provides warm and resonant peaks through a meticulously modelled low-pass filter letting you can add weight and energy to a thin and weak instrument or track, as well as boasting a smooth band-pass filter and creamy, articulate high-pass filter that never gets harsh. To take your filtering to the next level, Toxic Biohazard features modulation via the envelope generator and LFO to create even more texture and dynamic within your filtering. Whether you're looking to enhance the nuance or take it to the extreme, Toxic Biohazard has you covered.

The sequencer

Versatile, powerful yet incredibly easy to use, Toxic Biohazard offers a total of 64 steps divisible into two independent 32 step modules. With this, you can create complex polyrhythmic patterns to add a unique groove and feel to your tracks. Built from the ground up, Toxic Biohazard uses proprietary "Smart Sequencer" technology to give you the most advanced and flexible digital sequencer possible. When a chord is played, the module will pick out the notes within the chord and tune the pattern accordingly. Smart Sequencer technology also allows for pure playback of the programmed sequence from single notes, simply click and hold a chord and Toxic Biohazard can practically create an arrangement for you.
