Key Features
The Intelljiel Plog is a voltage controllable logic module designed for musical application featuring four major blocks of logical operations. The Plog constitutes of 2 x 3 input boolean logic sections, a toggle flip flop and data flip flop. The Plog can be used in a variety of ways but the primary use is intended to create complex patterns from gate/pulse sound sources such as clocks or sequencers. An added feature of the Plog is its preset storage management system allowing you to save and load settings.
Product Ref: 95709
The Intellijel Plog features 6 boolean logic types including AND, OR, NOR (not or), XOR (exclusive or), NAND (non-and) and XNOR (exclusive non-or), and they can be switched through using an external CV source. With an external CV source you can modulate through the different logic processors creating complex rhythmic structures. Although the logic blocks are three input, the third input (input Z) is normalled to (input Y) allowing for the three input devices to behave like two input logic devices if you only use the X and Y inputs. Also the X and Y inputs of logic block B are normalled to the X and Y inputs of logic block A. This is a handy feature enabling you to generate outputs from two logic blocks at the same time with only one pair of inputs. To find the truth table for each block please see the PDF manual.
The Intellijel Plog is a module that is used to create complex rhythmic sequences from very basic sound sources. However, it can be used in many other creative applications including creating interesting timbres and for self generating patches.
