The Elkhart 100FLP Flute comes with a split E mechanism that makes the lower E a much more secure and manageable. Without the Split E Mechanism, the note can sound faint and out of tune. This is prevented through this design. It also comes with an offset G configuration, which is better than the inline G key for smaller hands or younger students. The Closed Tone Holes also provide security with every note and allow a fully closed hole for those that are just starting out on the instrument.
Silver Plated Instrument
The whole of the Elkhart Student Flute has been made from a cupronickel body and then pink lacquered. This provides the great finish to the instrument which is desirable to a flautist looking for something different. As well as the body, the keys has been silver plated making a really good quality instrument.
Included Accessories
Included with the Elkhart 100FLP Flute is a lightweight canvas case with shoulder straps, making transportation of the instrument to rehearsals and concerts very easy. The instrument also includes an Elkhart headjoint which is specifically designed for this range of flutes.
