Radial Workhorse SubMix 500 Series Line Mixer Overview
Time to sum some signals. The Radial Workhorse SubMix is a 4 x 1 line mixer module that is compatible with 500 series racks, allowing you to sum four audio signals into a single channel. The Workhorse SubMix offers four 1/4'' unbalanced input connectors and individual level controls for each input source. Radial's innovative dual-gang AccuState circuit simultaneously adjusts the input gain and sensitivity to achieve the best possible signal-to-noise level. The Workhorse SubMix is perfect for summing multiple samplers, drum machines, keyboards and any audio playback sources in the studio without introducing noise.

- Using the SubMix with keyboards:
The SubMix is perfect for mixing keyboards and adding them into your recording. Two keyboards can be used together in stereo by connecting the left and right outputs to separate inputs on two SubMix modules.
- Using the SubMix for auxiliary inputs:
The SubMix is the perfect way to introduce tape returns and stereo feeds into your 500 series rack. Simply connect the left and right outputs in to the SubMix and set the levels using the convenient front-panel controls.
- Using the SubMix with effects:
The SubMix line mixer allows you to combine multiple guitar effects pedals together and record them. The SubMix can also be used with line level devices and to record instruments.
